Halcyon Manifold, Gauges, and Tank Bands

Halcyon Manifolds

Our North American customers have already come to rely on the functional design and reliability of the Halcyon manifold. Halcyon's Manifold is available as either a rugged 300 bar or 200 bar DIN isolator manifold featuring shock absorbing ribbed rubber hand wheels and a true double barrel o-ring isolator seal. As a result of persistent requests from our international dealers, Halcyon is pleased to announce the introduction of a CE-approved M25 thread version of the Halcyon Manifold for our international divers.

Halcyon Manifold

Available for distribution to Halcyon dealers outside of the US, Canada, or Mexico, the new variation of the manifold features M25 (metric) tank neck threads and does not incorporate a pressure relief disk (PRD).The Halcyon M25-thread manifold is stamped with CE approval. Although many divers have requested a manifold without burst disks for use in the US, Halcyon will not distribute the M25 version of the manifold to any dealer in North America. Any mistaken attempt to install the M25 manifold on a set of tanks with 3/4-inch thread would prove to be extremely dangerous.

The domestic version of the Halcyon manifold fits tanks with 3/4-14 thread and includes 3500psi working pressure relief disks (PRD) required for use within the United States.

Thanks to a new casting utilized by both versions of the manifold, Halcyon's "H" logo is now sculpted into the body of each valve. All Halcyon manifolds are assembled with Viton o-rings and oxygen-compatible lubricants.

Single Tank Valves

Halcyon's new 300 bar and 200 bar Single Tank Valve provide the beefy construction that you will want for your stage and primary bottles. 200 bar yoke inserts are available, but do not ship with the valves. The Halcyon Single Tank Valve is also Halcyon Valveavailable in a M25, CE-approved version for the European market.

Halcyon Pressure Gauges

Halcyon SPGs

Halcyon's standard DIR Pressure Gauge is just what you would expect in a DIR SPG: low tech, reliable, and accurate. The classic heavy-duty brass housing and tempered glass lens will stand up to any environment, and the gauge face is clean and easy to read in all conditions. The weight and size of the gauge makes it best suited to serve as a primary SPG for your back gas.

Technical divers using multiple gasses often prefer a smaller, lighter SPG for their stage bottles. Halcyon is pleased to announce that we are releasing a new DIR Stage Pressure Gauge for just his purpose:

•Slightly smaller than our standard SPG
•Lighter weight helps to balance an equiped stage bottle during the dive

Available calibrated for either BAR or PSI. DIR SPG registers up to 5500 PSI/360 BAR and features nickel-plated brass construction with a mineral glass lens; DIR Stage SPG registers up to 5000 PSI/400 BAR and features nickel-plated brass construction with an acrylic lens.

Halcyon: Above Average

Few divers pay any attention to the type of knobs found on manifolds. If they did, all manifolds would have rubber knobs. They are durable, shock absorbent, shatterproof and easy to turn. Divers should be aware that rubber knobs could turn inadvertently if rubbed along an overhead.

To avoid "roll off" of the gas supply, the alert diver merely needs to check the valve following any contact with the overhead (a wise habit to develop regardless of the knobs used). Plastic knobs do slightly reduce "roll off" but are dangerous because they can shatter on impact, leaving you with nothing to turn on or off. The metal knobs can’t shatter and are less likely to roll but can bend or shear off upon impact.
