recently switched my O/W rig from a BC to the Halcyon single tank wings.
WOW. I have never felt so streamlined in the water. The new backplate
adaptor is slick. It also packs quite well for trips. I am trying to convince
all of my friends to go this route when buying BC's.

A D-ring attached high on the crotch strap provides
a convenient storage location for items like reels and lift bags.
Reserve scooters are also easily towed from the crotch-strap D-ring.
In addition, divers with diver propulsion vehicles (DPV’s) should
appreciate the amazing speed efficiency possible when towing a stranded
diver holding onto a crotch strap. The time saved is remarkable
and may well make enough difference to allow an otherwise questionable
departure.
