Why does Halcyon use EPDM oval corrugated hose on their BCs?

Halcyon chose EPDM due to its outstanding wear properties. It resists wear and stays flexible for many years even in the toughest environments. This material is also compatible with all commonly used cleaning/sanitizing chemicals like bleach, ammonia, and mild concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. The oval hose configuration provides a more streamlined configuration.
