At Halcyon, we love seeing curiosity turn into discovery — and that’s exactly what’s happening at Craig High School in Alaska.
Earlier this year, we donated scuba gear to support their Marine Biology program, helping students dive into hands-on research in their local waters. With this equipment, they’ll be able to explore nearby dive sites, collect data, and track changes in their marine environment over time.
Principal Josh Andrews shared how meaningful this opportunity is for his students, noting that Craig High might be the only public high school in Alaska conducting this kind of field research. For many of these students, it could be the start of a lifelong connection to the ocean.
“Without the support of companies like yours, this opportunity would have been very difficult, if not impossible, to provide.”
— Josh Andrews, Principal, Craig High School
We’re honored to support the next generation of ocean explorers and can’t wait to see what they discover next.
